Swatch: OPI "My Private Jet"

Hello girls

Today I have one picture of OPI "My Private Jet" to show you. It is a polish I have owned for forever and never tried on as I thought this was not a polish I would like as it is such a deep brown. But after I finally decided to try it I can tell you that I am going to keep this one. It is a two-coater and application is great. It is a dark greyish brown with a warm brown shine and a little bit of holographic flakes. I think the shine and the holo work well together and that's new for me as I normally hate that combination. So I am happy I finally took the step and tried it.

Swatch: Picture Polish "Moscow"

Sigh... Picture Polish "Moscow" instantly became a favorite polish in my collection when I received it in December, so of cause I need to show you how pretty this polish is.
It is a two coater. In color it is a mix between red, purple and brown, it is a holo so it gives a very pretty and complimenting orange prism when direct light hits it. If you stay in shade whit this polish you will get a more cold look because of the micro shimmer in pink, light pink and blue that light up when you have weak indirect light over the nails - the micro shimmer is very hard to catch with a camera though.

Birthday nails featuring CirqueColors "Mirror Mirror"

Hello girls.

Today is a big day for me, I am turning 25 today so I kind of have a jubilee in life itself today :P I seems like the only person in my surroundings that thinks that is special these days, but that doesn't matter cause I am going to spend the day with my sweet boyfriend <3

The nails for today had to be spectacular of cause, but I was challenged as I didn't had much time to do my nails this week and on top of that I didn't know which dress to wear for my little party tomorrow. So I ended up with a simple mani using CirqueColors limited edition silver flake polish "Mirror Mirror" and added black ribbons and bows for a sophisticated touch of lovely presents. I love this even though it is so simple, so happy with my choice. Here is a picture of the mani:

Swatch - Serum No. 5 "A Cup Of Teal"

Hello girls.

Here is some quick swatch photos for you to see of this pretty shade from Serum No. 5, "A Cup Of Teal". I bought this polish when NorwayNails had a sale around new year. I had had my eyes on it for a while cause I own a pink version from a little random brand and that I absolutely love, I was just in doubt about if I needed this type of holo in a light blue, but I am happy I finally decided to buy it.
It is an easy two coater so it's a pleasure to work with. Here is a direct link to where I bought the polish.

Guestpost: Carla from Seductive Nails

Hello readers. Today I have a guestpost for you. Carla was one of the winners of my Secret Christmas Giveaway, and although it took soo long for the polish to reach her she was happy to make a review and manicure to show us :)
As her blog is in spanish she have made the guestpost in both English and Spanish. Thank you so much sweet Carla for your beautiful work! On with her post:

Hi! It's Carla from www.seductivenails.blogspot.com.ar. It's a pleasure to prepare a guest post for Amalie, actually it's the first time I do a guest post, so I hope you enjoy it :)
Hola! Soy Carla del blog www.seductivenails.blogspot.com.ar. Es un gusto poder preparar un guest post para Amalie, en realidad es la primera vez que lo hago, así que espero que les guste :)

Picture4Last month I won her giveaway and last week I received her package with the prize: China Glaze 'The Outer Edge' inside of it. I don't know if you have it, but I was very impressed when I saw it because it resembles snow really well. It is made of opaque white microglitters and, apart from that, it has tiny holo particles, which makes it more 'wintery'.

Fancy Friday: Inspired by another member

Hi girls
Today the theme was tricky in the way that there was soooo many possibilities. But finally I found a manicure that I really wanted to try. The mani I was inspired by was this Peter Pan manicure from Louise and her blog JustPolishIt. I love the idea of this manicure, but at the same time I think she did it perfect, so I didn't want to do the same manicure. So the outcome became a skyline mani, and probably New York and not London is the location. I am pretty satisfied even though it got much less "fantastic" and down to earth now that there isn't any flying boys ;) But there are some pretty stars. Here are the outcome:
