Hello Ladies, welcome to a new year:) exams, 30 days to my birthday and all that jazz that usually comes at this time of year. Anybody else already thinking about getting a year older this year?
It has been a long time since I bought these polishes, but... then fall came, then christmas.. and for once I was not into pastels that mush this season, but I am happy that the time for pastels is coming closer, and therefore, I thought this was the best time for showing you these polishes.
When I first saw OVbunEN a part of me died... and I knew that I could only be a whole person again when I owned this polish and I ordered the day it was released! It was a little expensive with shipping costs, and they had a offer that I could get the set og OvbunEN and Elephant Shoe for 18 dollars instead of the one for 13, so I was a naughty little girl and bought them both :D was about 180 DK.
Again I wanted to wait posting this until my language shift on the blog, but you shall wait no longer<3
Elephant Shoe - a grey creme polish that needs two thick coats of tree thin coats of polish. Ideal light grey if you ask me and I was actually missing this in my stash. It's not unique, but a necessary polish. I needed to learn how to polish with it but when you know it a little better it is easy to work with, but not as easy as OPI for example.
OVbunEN - is a glitter in a clear base. The glitter is different sizes and the colors are blue, light pink, reddish purple and yellow. It also have some transparent barglitters in it that shines blue, but they are not so obvious and I am happy about that. It is very unique and very pretty. Elephant Shoe is the perfect background, but I am sure this glitter will suit many colors. The glitter is very dense so you don't need to go hunting for it, it's more likely you need to get some of the brush to get the right amount on the nail if you want to see the base color. In theory I think it could cover on itself at maybe three coats, but I wouldn't recommend it because the glitter isn't very bendable but a little stiff, so overlapping will make it impossible for topcoat to even out. I used to coats of topcoat after the glitter. But the glitter is easy to replace on the nail as long as the base is still wet and not drying.
I myself have been looking at some of the new Girly Bits holos but that can't be for now.
Others than me that strongly feel the own to few Girly Bits polishes?
