Fancy Friday: Fruit and Vegetables

Today the theme of the Fancy Friday challenge is fruits and/or vegetables.

I have made strawberry nails before (in 2012, see it in this old blogpost) but I wanted to do a new take on strawberry nails.

So this happened:

Outside shade:

I started with a light pink almost white base (Essie "Fiji"), then I made a gradient with a light green to illustate grass (Etude House Sweet Recipe "Apple").

I made strawberrys with OPI "Charged up cherry", the best summer red in my opinion. With Essie "Fiji" i made a slighty white tip on the berries and added dots for the seeds.

With Essie "Sew Psyched" I made leaves and stems with spirals so it created a funny pattern.

Of cause not all can do those spirals in free hand.

I recommend you try on a paper before your own nails and always remember that you will get better with practise. If you never do anything creative this will be crazy hard for you to do, but it is very few people that got skills without have had to work for it.

I was a little careless when I made this and you can definitely see that, but i think it adds a roughness that actually suit the nature theme very well I think.
