Today for Fancy Friday I wanted to try using my OPI Sheer tints to colors a stamping design - this technique is called leadlight technique. I have seen it done some times and it offers so many pastel possibilities that my heart almost flows over. Besides that I think this was pretty easy to do.
Here is my design of the day:
Method and polishes:
First I stamped Sally Hansen "Jungle Gem" with a design from MoYou Pro Collection 04 plate. Then I filled the design in with the OPI Sheer Tints (all ecept the purple) and OPI "Do You Think I'm Tex-y" to make it more special. I dotted a little with the yellow Sheer Tint.
Here is a photo of the glitter polish itself over Essie "Fiji"
The glitter polish is Painted Polish "Love In The Mist". A nice workable glitter with turquoise, pink and yellow glitter. I will recommend putting this upside down for some minutes before use but then it is very nice to work with.
And as always matte topcoats just makes magic <3
If the glitter is a little too much for you I think this is a more simple and maybe more put together look - although i must say it is a pain in the ass to dot with the OPI Sheer Tints as they drag threads... But with a lot of patience they make pretty things.
I will do this again for sure, it makes stamping a little more fun and pretty I think. I don't think I will ever do a full mani like this, but the accent nails for sure :)
And this is my last day in Florence so next week will be much more fun update-wise

Mums, det ser virkelig lækkert ud med den matte, men det gør det jo ALTID med mat toplak. :D
