BornPrettyStore Review: Water Decals

Well they are very pretty, but the colors on the site are not at all what I got. Not a problem in this case, but I think it is very important to have good pictures in terms of colors, especially when you sell a beauty product.

Before this I had never used water decals and I did have to redo some fingers - then I would have liked if there had been 12 wraps and not just the ten you teoretically need to make a mani. Its can easily be leaned if you see a great youtube tutorial like me and pay attention to it (the times I messed up it was because I was a dummy and forgot a step). But it also takes a lot of time to do, also all the cutting you need to do before you can apply was killing me as the round edge had to be very fitting. Mine didn't got cut good enought and it looked horrible before I took a nail art brush with some acetone and cleaned the edges. I usually don't need this much cleanup and my hands got very dry so for the pictures I retouched a lot.

In short I don't like the process of applying water decals and these five fingers was more than enought, but as an accent nail now and then I could be happy for water decals because the designs are so sweet. And it is really fun to seal the design with topcoat and see the bumps melt together in a smooth surface, that amazed me on all fingers! xD (this is too much science for me haha)

And just because I was curious I tried it out matte with OPIs Matte Topcoat. I actually like this particular design best this way :)
