Swatch: Models Own "Roman Candle"

Hi girls, today I have a new years polish to show you. It is a Models Own polish from their Fireworks collection from 2013, and therefore not a new polish. I got it at the time it came out but I didn't get to wear it for new years (as I got a better idea s you can see in last years blogpost), so thats why I will swatch and review it now.

First a picture:




It is a fun glitter topper. It consists of silver, magenta and pink hex glitters in different sizes and holographic silver small bar glitter and big black bar glitters. Weird, but it can work.

I had no application issue besides the base being runny, but you just have to be careful and let the base glide of the brush before you apply. It does not have to be a big problem. And of cause I always fish after more glitter for specific places if needed. Its just like any other glitter in consistency.

And this is how it looks mattified. I like this a lot! So that is a way to turn this suitable for every day after new years.
I chose to put it over OPI "Taupe-less Beach" to make it stand out on the nail
