Beauty: Kiko eyeshadow palettes review and looks

Hi beauties

I bought this Infinity Eyeshadow Palette from Kiko when I was in London and I think I am ready to tell you about my thoughts about it. The palette I purchased has room for 9 Infinity eyeshadows. Since my first time at Kiko for 5 years ago they have changed their eyeshadow range, therefore I didn't got any of my mothers wishes from their colors sphere line home. Sad for her but I was exited for this new thing.

I know that my mother loved her eyeshadows from Kiko, but as base she always use Gosh Waterproof Eye shadow sticks and over that almost all eyeshadows sit all day, so I don't doubt they will be great that way but I chose to test the eyeshadows only over Too Faced Eye Shadow Insurance. A primer I know really tell the quality of eyeshadows.

The case costed around 9-10 pounds (sorry I threw away the ticket)
The eyeshadows I think was 3-4 pounds.
Of cause if I lived in London I would have bought all this over time, and in that way it would be a better deal I think, cause this ended up very expensive. I am happy that I chose the colors very well and there is actually only one eyeshadow I would like to switch out if I had the chance.

Firstly about the packaging I am not at all impressed. The case is plastic and is very receptive to scratches and as you can see the moisture of the hands.
Another downer is that the lid offers way to much space for pigments so spread around and the infinity system does work well only used at home, but one clash if you try to travel with this could be the end of something  cause one of the shadows can get loose and again there is good space for it to really ruin the whole thing. I was so careful with this and had it in my handbag traveling home to Denmark, but it actually did happen, I was just incredible lucky that almost nothing happened. So don't buy this to take it on the go. If i had had more money I would have bought a case with three plots to always have the perfect blending and highlight color with me - I'm happy I didn't use the money on that, cause I will never travel with this. I actually wish i had kept the lid for the shadows so I could use them individually on the go.

The names of the colors:
283, 281, 267
245, 223, 238
250, 244, 240

And this is the swatches made with my fingers. 5 are matte and 4 are shimmery.

Here is some of the looks i put together with this palette. I only used eyeshadows from the palette and all the 9 colors have been used in these two designs because I played with them.

Overall I am happy to have these in my collection, but next time I will try the colors over bases. After ten hours this was not at all nice to look at, so a primer is not good enough for this, so the quality is defenetly not that amazing and they need more work and security to stay.
About applying I had to build the color up both with the matte and a shimmery color, that's what I am most disappointed about. the swatches I have shown above is with my finger and that works really good, but the hairs on my best brushes don't pick these up as they should. In the future I will use sponges to apply the eyeshadows I want to cover the lid. The darker colors and the browns where great at blending though, but I found that the definition I made went away very fast - again I need to use a base next time.

I found out that I don't really like a matte lid so I will only use the matte colors for blending in the future. The light blue I would have liked to switch with a steel light blue instead but on the other hand I have a palette from MUA full of those colors, so I guess I am satisfied with having this unique but not really useful color in my stash;)

Have you any questions or have experiences anything else if you own any infinity eye shadows from Kiko, then please leave a comment:)
