Swatch: Nabi Holos Part 2

A week went by and that means I will show the last 6 Nabi Holographics I bought. If you missed the post of last week you can go and watch part 1 here.

The colors of today are: "Cinnahon", "Light Pink", "Rose", "Tawny", "Wine" and "Purple"

 

All the polishes are scattered holographics with a strong prism. They have some smell of cheap polish but not extremely strong, I think it is alright. They could use some aquabase but I don't got that and if careful about application you can definitely use them without.

All polishes are first shown in shade and then in direct sunlight.

All polishes are shown without top coat unless a finger with the two last polishes.

"Cinnahon" - Is the perfect nude holographic polish for my skin tone. It's very light and the shade is not to brown or orange. It is just right I think. And the holo is amazing. A thing that could be better is as you may be able to see in the shade picture that this polish really could use a aqua base, it drags a litle when you add another color - but if you are patient with applying and let all layers dry completely I don't think you will experience many problems. I used three coats.

"Light Pink" - is a light varm pink. actually it is not warm toned in the bottle but it dries that color which I was sad to discover as I don't think this warm pink suits me. It took three coats to cover the nail.
I bought the color "Flamingo" as well in this order and I sold it quite quick as it was almost identical to this. I have no pictures of the comparison so you will just have to trust me on that

"Rose" - Is my favorite of this part! It is the most lovely rosey medium pink color and the holographic effect makes it so alive and fresh. I will bring this to Florence this summer for sure! It needs two-three coats, I myself prefer it with three as it makes it cover totally.
Some may say it looks like Orly "Miss Conduct" but that polish is much darker.

"Tawny" - is a dark brown holo. Admitted it don't look that good in these photos, in real life it gives more hint of a pinkish tone that makes it more flattering but it would not show in my pictures and while editing I could not get it to seem right. The holo was also hard to capture on this one, not because it's not there, it definitely is, in photos this just want to hate me... sorry for that. It covers in two easy coats.

The two last colors have a build-in surprise. I am still torn about if this is good or bad but it makes some opportunities the rest of the polishes don't give. They transform color and holographic effect when you apply topcoat to them. As you will see the color goes from very obvious scattered holographic to a more subtle holographic but with a almost neon version of the color.
In the pictures I have used Poshé Top Coat on the ring finger.
I have tested all the nabi holographics I recieved and only these two change color by top coat.
I haven't used this yet without top coat so I can't say how it will hold up without top coat but that is also very individual.

"Wine" - is a wine red polish and when it get a layer top coat it transform into a strong red holo. Muted holo but still very holo, just not scattered anymore. I like both colors but I do like the original best so in that way I am sad that I can't wear that polish with protecting top coat. But as I do like the extra color I get in this polish I am torn about if I like this or not.

"Purple" - is a vibrant scattered holographic purple that turns to become a neon purple holographic polish. Again the scattered holo becomes something else. This color is crazy! And here I really like the outcome of top coat, actually better than the original color. This would be fun with dots of top coat I think

So that's it. 12 amazing cheap holographic polishes.
