Actually this is a nail mail from the veeery early spring. I took the photos, but never made the review because I had planned too much. Now it's here and I hope it will make somebody happy :)
From left to right:
"Rococo Gradeur", "Pegasus" and "Midsummer's Midnight"
"Rococo Gradeur" - Was a polish I have longed for for so long, and I bet you can see why. It is a jelly/crelly light blue base with small gold and rose ordinary glitter, medium square ordinary glitter... and medium and large matte light pink hexes and large square pink glitter. Ooooooooohhhhhhh<3<3<3<3 It is so complex, so stylish, so perfect for a lover of the 17-18th century style. Marie Antoinette from her best angle ON my nails. Dies
But as for the consistensy it is horrible is you would ever think to try it on without any base. It can not be done, it will never ever dry and never ever cover fully (at least I wouldn't bother to try count coats, it's not work I want to do). I used two coats over a base I have mentioned under the photos of the outcome.
Sally Hansen "Breezy Blue" was my base for "Rococo Gradeur". A horrible polish, i needed 3-4 coats for it to cover and it dried insanely slowly. But for the swatch I think it was the most true color to the base of "Rococo Gradeur". But I will use another next time. Don't Buy that Sally Hansen!
"Pegasus" - Is a light lilac crelly with three sizes of silver glitter. I thought this would never cover the nail, but it actually did fully after 3-4 coats. Next time I will use this with a base and two layers of this. It is lovely but it was very hard to put on evenly while also spreading the glitter evenly. But it is a pretty polish.
"Midsummer's Midnight" - Is a crelly black polish with small green hex glitter, bigger pink hex glitter, blur square glitter and purple square glitter. It is a party in itself. You need this (said the girl that hates black nails). This is fab on the toes especially. Because I wanted to save some time this is two coats (for added depth) over Essie "Liqurice" that is a fabulous onecoater. It can cover in itself with 3-4 coats, but in my mind it is a waste of this polish, i dont think it will look better but i am also a firm believer of a firm base always does the trick.
I hope to buy more Hare polishes in the fall. I bought these from their etsy page.
Are you drooling over any on their site?
