Swatch: Battle of the pastel glitter polishes

Today I have a little different blogpost for you. Maybe you will have seen all or just a few of these pictures before as they have all been up on the blog before. I have gathered all my transparent pastel glitter polishes (in a clear base) for this blogpost, so if you are in doubt about what you should get or just need some inspiration on how to use your pastel glitter, then you should read on dear reader.

The polishes of this blogpost are theese:

*If you have trouble in applying glitter polishes because of to much base, you should try putting your polish upside down for some minutes before use, that will make things much more easy.*

Black Cat Lacquer "Let Them Eat Cake" (still available from sites that sell BCL)

This polish I blought about a years ago as one of my first indie polishes. It has two sizes of glitter, one very tiny white glitter and one medium size glitter in rose, blue and green. Very playful look and it sparks even a plain nude-ish color up as this.

The bad thing about this is that it is extremely gloopy and have always been so I have used this very few times before I got my hands on a thinner (now my excuse is that I keep forgetting about it - so I guess this is not a glitter polish you can't live without).

Black Cat Lacquer "Lucky Star" (still available from sites that sell BCL)
My recent post but actually a old polish in my collection. It has pastel blue, pink and purple glitter hexes in three sizes and star glitters. A very sweet polish, and it can be used for many things, but not all. Compared to "Let Them Eat Cake" this is a little more running in consistency, but it is packed with glitter so you are sure to get a goot amout of glitter onto the nail.

Cirque Colors "Lullaby" (Still available from sites that sell CC)
A very light pastel glitter with all the colors of the rainbow including white transparent glitter. There are about six different sizes of glitter and all kinds like hex, square and star glitters. This have been my favorite for so long and it is still up there. It has a great consistency and it fits with every many you put together! It catches the light so beautiful... <3
Also shown over nude here.

Painted Polish "Love In The Mist" (Still available from sites that sell PP)
A nice workable glitter with turquoise, pink and yellow glitter in 5 different sizes, both including hex and circle glitter. Its also great matte as you can see by following the link.
This is not a "all-you-need-glitter", only three colors makes this go for some things but not all I would need a pastel glitter for, but it certantly is a glitter you need. Also I am really pleased by the consistency, it can be worn many many times without problems.

Girly Bits "OvbunEN" (Still available from sites that sell GB)
This polish both haves transparent and not transparent pastel glitter in it, but I think it still fits this battle. It is themes around being expecting and therefore its colors are mainly blue, pink/lilac and yellow. I think it have about six sizes glitter and it is hex glitter and a little bar glitter. Again this cant be a all-you-need-glitter, actually I think it's a little too much over a lot of polishes, it is best over a very neutral toned grey as "Elephant Shoe" which was designed by Girly Bits to go with this.

Oopsie Daisies "Festivus for the rest of us" - (Not available anymore)
A glitter polish with thro sizes of glitter in black and pastel colors as rose, turquoise, white and purple (and a yellow here and there as you can see on the pinkie). This polish can be used for so many things all year around! I am so happy I snatched a bottle before they disappeared from the internet. They should bring this back for sure. The consistency of this is also nice.

Glam Polish "Hop Till You Drop" - (limited edition for Easter 2014)
This is the newest addition to my stash of these. Four sizes of glitter and all the big ones are circle glitter. It has all the colors of the rainbow as Cirque Colors "Lullaby", but the colors are much more present even though the polish therefore is not as delicate and usable. It can of cause be used but I would chose it for different manis that Lullaby. I clearly needed both, and it is so much me in the summer <3
