Fancy Friday: Duo (with ILNP)

Hi girls

For today I did something I oddly enough have never tried... I made a flower design:P
It hit me when I saw my new holographic ILNP polishes "Molly" and "Princeton" side by side, that I had to try this immediately. And so I did. Here it is (more pictures later)

First I want to show the polishes. Here is the bottleshots:

"Molly" - is a purple linear holo. The finish of this is very hard to describe, it has a redish pink shimmer and almost have a little duocrome in it in the sence that this have very dark shadows and there is a great contrast in this polish on the nail. It makes it look very put together. Two coats is all you need

"Princeton" - is a light green linear holo. Very simple and gorgeous and you need this in your life, I guarantee it. But there is not much more than that to say about this polish, it speaks for itself and I just know that I will have great use for this. Two coats for full opacity.

Because they have so great coverage I enjoy polishes like these for nail art.

I did not have a method for the flowers other than I started in the middle with a dot and made rounded flower leaves around it and finished with the green leaves. I did the design very quick as I know that such a design shall not be to perfect as a rose for an example aren't in itself. So if you want to do this you just need to go for it.

It was more easy than I had expected and I love the outcome. It's a shame that it's just now I tried this out and this will not be my last rose nail art design.
If you wonder what I used as base for the fingers with the roses, it is Essie "Fiji" as always :P It never fails me <3
